Selections of Russia 2018. The football world cup that will take place this year in Russia is not just a fabulous event for all sports fans. In this, also the 32 selections of Russia 2018 face for the glorious FIFA world Cup and 38 million dollars as a prize to the winning country. After a long qualifying trip for the world cup, a draw must be made to place the teams in different groups and then schedule the respective matches. This draw was made in a televised event on December 1st, 2017.

FIFA organized the 32 teams in four drums. Drum 1 has the eight group heads (the host Russia, Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Poland and France). Drum 2  includes Spain, Peru, Switzerland, England, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay and Croatia. The hype 3 has Denmark, Iceland, Costa Rica, Sweden, Tunisia, Egypt, Senegal and Iran. And the drum 4 is made up of Serbia, Nigeria, Australia, Japan, Morocco, Panama, South Korea and Saudi Arabia.

The groups were formed of a team from each drum forming eight groups in total. One exception is that there cannot be more than two teams from the same region per group, there are European teams in the four drums, and in three there are selections from CONCACAF.

Selections of Russia 2018 will begin with games on June 14, the date on which the first whistle will be given. The first game will debut the host Russia against Saudi Arabia.
